Who I am

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals cultivate insight, process trauma, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience. I strive to create a therapeutic space grounded in openness and compassion—free from judgment and rooted in respect for each client’s unique experience. My clinical specialties include anxiety, eating disorders, panic attacks, and utilization of attachment-focused EMDR..

My approach to psychotherapy is integrative and thoughtfully tailored to support your individual healing process. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that may be constraining your life. I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based modality that can be particularly effective in addressing unresolved trauma and areas where you may feel “stuck.” At the core of my work is a humanistic philosophy: I view therapy as a collaborative journey in which we are fellow travelers, and I deeply trust your innate capacity to move toward healing. Additionally, I incorporate an attachment-focused lens, exploring how early relational experiences may be shaping present-day patterns and concerns.

I bring extensive experience from residential and PHP/IOP levels of care in eating disorder treatment into my private practice. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, disordered eating, or body image concerns, you can expect informed, attuned, and specialized care grounded in both clinical expertise and genuine compassion.

Location: My office is conveniently located in Santa Barbara and I offer sessions remotely as well to any California resident.
